Wasiat Training — Session 2

The second Wasiat Training session brought together a new group of financial advisors for an immersive learning experience on Islamic estate planning in Singapore.

Building on the same comprehensive training framework, participants explored the legal, Shariah and practical aspects of Wasiat, Faraidh, Waqf and Islamic estate planning. Through interactive discussions, practical scenarios and a live walkthrough of the iWasiat tool, participants gained a clearer understanding of how to incorporate Islamic estate planning into meaningful conversations with their clients.

  • Islamic will (Wasiat) writing — End‑to‑end process, validity requirements, clauses, witnesses/guardianship, and integration with advisory work.
  • Social finance instrument: Waqf — Case‑study illustration of converting assets into long‑term community benefit via waqf.
  • Innovation spotlight: iWasiat — Introduction and live walkthrough of iWasiat, a Singapore‑focused wasiat generator designed to streamline compliant will creation.

*Outcome: Participants left with a clearer grasp of the legal‑religious landscape and a step‑by‑step approach to embedding wasiat conversations into real client journeys.
