This initiative brought together key industry players, scholars, and practitioners to exchange insights on strengthening Waqf development, sustainability, and governance.

Delegation & Participation

The programme welcomed over 40 delegates representing Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore, marking a strong regional commitment towards innovative Waqf management and cross-border collaboration.

Key Highlights

Participants gained in-depth understanding of:

  • Singapore’s Wakaf regulatory and governance framework

  • Best practices in asset management and commercialisation

  • First-hand sharing from trustees and administrators on operational realities and challenges

These sessions provided practical guidance for institutions seeking to enhance the impact of their Waqf assets.
